Monitor Web Servers, Apache
The Web Status plugin is automatically enabled when you add a new device to SevOne NMS to enable you to monitor Web servers. Web server statistics can include the number of pages served, the number of threads used, and server cache information.
After you enable the device to send Web Status data to SevOne NMS, perform the following steps to enable the Web Status plugin for each device from which you want to poll Web Status metrics. For details, please refer to section Enable Web Status in SevOne NMS System Administration Guide.
From the navigation bar, click the Devices menu and select Device Manager.
Either add a device with the Web Status plugin or edit a device to enable the Web Status plugin.
Click Add Device to display the New Device page.
Click to display the Edit Device page.
- Click the plugin drop-down (displays SNMP by default) and select Web Status.
Select the Check for Apache server status page and poll metrics check box.
Select the Use HTTPS check box to authenticate onto the device via https. You need to upload a certificate on the Authentication Settings page to use https.
In the Port field, enter the port on the device for SevOne NMS to use for communication.
